Does Padhaai cost anything?
Not for a student. Every lesson, practice question and explanation is free to use, and there is no paid tier that unlocks more learning. It is not free to make — it is heavily subsidised — so if a family chooses to contribute, that helps another family. It changes nothing about what their own child can access.
Can I study in Marathi or Hindi?
Yes. Marathi, Hindi and English are equal throughout, including inside explanations. You can switch language at any time from the sidebar or from Settings, without losing your place.
Which boards and grades are covered?
Maharashtra State Board, grades 6 to 10, is what we cover properly today. Other boards exist in the system but we would rather tell you they are not ready than pretend otherwise.
Can I use it without internet?
Partly. You can save a subject for offline use and keep reading those lessons without a connection. Practice you complete offline syncs the next time you are online.
I am a parent. What can I see?
With a verified link to your child's account you see a weekly summary: what they have mastered, how much effort they put in, and what is coming up. You do not see their every click, and they know what you can see.
What data do you keep, and can I delete it?
As little as we can — no location, no caste, no income, no contacts. You can see exactly what you have agreed to, withdraw any of it, download a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, from Settings under Privacy.
Something or someone made me uncomfortable. What do I do?
Use the Report button. It is on every page, it takes seconds, and you do not have to give your name. A real person reads every report. If you are in danger right now, tell a trusted adult as well — we are not an emergency service.
Report a problem
Anything that worries you: someone being hurtful, content you should not be seeing, a privacy concern, or something simply broken. You can report without signing in and without giving your name.
